Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 1 Extended Till February, Epic Games

Fortnite's Chapter 2 is in full swing right now, but it appears that there are some surprises left in the store before Season 1 comes to an end. Epic Games has announced that Season 1 of Fortnite's Chapter 2 has been extended and it will now conclude in February. As for the reason behind the delay, Epic Games mentions that it has new game features, rewards and an event that the developer says shouldn't be missed. The company has also announced that with the Fortnite v11.20 update, it will add the option of playing the game's PC version using Microsoft DirectX 12, which promises better CPU performance and distribution of rendering jobs. Fortnite's PC version currently requires a Microsoft DirectX 11-capable graphics card, but Microsoft DirectX 12 support will pave the way for higher frame rates with a steady output. Epic Games also plans to bring more features in the future that can take advantage of the Microsoft DirectX 12 APIs.
